Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield was born on August 20 1983 in California, Los Angeles. His performances include The Social Network (2010), The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 and Hacksaw Ridge 2016. Garfield began his theatre career before moving to television in 2005, with Sugar Rush. He was first seen on film as a character in Mumbo Jumbo. In 2010, he achieved fame for his role as The Social Network. He was then Spider-Man's much-loved character in the new film version directed by Marc Webb. His parents were American Richard Garfield, and British Lynn Hillman. He has a younger sibling called Ben. At the age of three the parents of his moved together to Surrey England. In the early years, he began studying acting classes and participating in school plays. He later attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London making his first step into the theatre.
