Caterina Scorsone is an American-Canadian actor. Caterina Scorsone became well-known because of her Dr. Amelia Shepherd role in Grey's Anatomy, Station 19 and other dramas. She played the same role in the drama Private Practice. Francesca Scorsone, her sister's full name, is Francesca. Her career began as an actor for the Mr. Dressup show. She showed her skills in the feature film Power Play as Michelle Parker. Missing was another successful film of her acting career where she played the role of Jess Mastriani. In 2009, she showcased her acting abilities as the character Alice in a movie titled Alice. Following her success she participated in the TV series Grey's Anatomy. Amelia Shepherd was her character in the series. It was her first recurring role but transferred into the main cast due to her brilliant performance. The impressive actress has worked on several successful projects in her career. The first time she appeared on TV, she made her debut appearance in 1996, on the program called Goosebumps.
