Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to put on an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO during the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got her a night's performance bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and her Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight.
