Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish was born 1982. Cornish was a part of a number of films including Heidi in Somersault (2002) as well as Fanny Brawne's Bright Star (2009) Sweetpea in Suckerpunch (2011) Lindy In Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy RoboCop 2014. Sarah in Geostorm 2017 and Seven Psychopaths (2012). The latter movie Cornish received her first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 as well as a variety of other films was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin made a decision to go into acting because she was able to count on the backing and affection of her parents. When the time came to enroll in college she picked Fordham College where she learned to develop her skills. Gilpin auditioned, and then began to perform off-Broadway in shows after she graduated. After a brief guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent and a few other small parts for the films Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin kept getting TV guest roles over time. Her first big break occurred in 2013 when she was picked to be a regular on Nurse Jackie. As Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes in the show until Nurse Jackie ended its run in June of 2015. Gilpin was as well featured in True Story (2015), the thriller mystery.
