Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After earning some recognition in the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The website remained online till the start of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
